Joe Budden has one of the top hip-hop podcasts in the game. And as he has gained notoriety in the media space, Joe has landed some of the top names in the entertainment industry on his podcasts. Nicki Minaj, The Clipse, and Nas are just a few of the guests to grace his pod.
Amanda Seales Explains Beef With The Joe Budden Podcast
Although Budden’s self-named show has become one of the most notable in the podcast space, not everyone is interested in appearing on the program. Such as actress Amanda Seales. Seales says that she has no interest in appearing on his podcast. Noting that some of the co-hosts have said “mean” things about her in the past.
“I just don’t wanna go places where people have said mean things about me,” she said. “I wouldn’t have gone on Tasha K if I had actually done the research that I should’ve done and seen the way that she’s talked about me in the past. She was lovely in person. I’m not gonna take that from her, but the way that she has spoken about me in the past is deplorable.”
However, the Insecure star made it clear that she has no issues with Budden personally. She even refers to the Pump It Up creator as a “friend” as well as other co-hosts such as Mona and Marc Lamont Hill. But she says that the things some of the other co-hosts have said about her in the past are simply hard to ignore.
“So, there are people on that podcast that I consider my friends,” she continued. “I’ve known Joe since I was 19. But then, he has other people on there that I’m just not interested in talking about or talking to. They have had my name in their mouth.”
At the time of writing, none of the members of the podcast have responded to Seales’ comments.
