Jason Lee’s interview with ASAP Rocky dropped this morning and he dug into several pressing topics. One of such, is Rocky’s full feelings on Drake.
What Did ASAP Rocky Say?
The Harlem native began his interview quite chummy with Jason Lee, at least, until Drake became a topic of conversation. While discussing Ray J’s celebrity boxing performance, Lee then asked Rocky if he’d square up in one of those promotions against Drake.
“Not [for] celebrity boxing,” Rocky said. “He don’t want to see me, not on anything. F*** some gloves, we’d [do] bare knuckle, like the Irish. We ain’t doing that celebrity boxing.
Rocky clearly didn’t appreciate the question, mentioning that him and Rihanna had a talk knowing Lee would ask some messy questions. This prompted Lee to bring up the elephant in the room, the rumored genesis of Drake and Rocky’s beef: Rihanna.
“I didn’t take his girl,” Rocky said with a puzzled look on his face. “She was dating that Saudi prince dude with all that money and he couldn’t hold her cuz here come Harlem [me], don’t nothing compare to that.”
However, while Rocky denies Rihanna and Drake ever really being locked in, he acknowledges that he knows he still wants her, and frankly, finds that odd.
“I think it’s weird that everybody done moved on with their lives and m****** still strung up on that s***. It’s just bugged out to me. And then the weird internet antics and smear campaigns, we see right through that. That’s why I don’t respond to that.”

He also accuses Drake of orchestrating smear campaigns against him:

Why Didn’t Rihanna Post The Single Though?
Lee then asked about Drake accusing Rihanna of not posting Rocky’s album on “Burning Bridges,” which Rocky vehemently denied.
“That’s stupid,” Rocky said. “If she woulda posted my album, everyone woulda been like, ‘you only went number one cuz of your girl. She not on my f***** album. What single she supposed to be posting. She posted it after it went number one [on the charts].”
