The Hot Boys Reunion tour has brought about a lot of tension within the group. Especially when it comes to members, B.G. and Turk.
B.G. Addresses His Issues With Turk
B.G. recently sat down for a one-on-one with AllHipHop and addressed the state of his relationship with Turk.
“It is what it is. I’m not here to bash him or downplay him. People know the history with the Hot Boys,” B.G. explained. He knows what he did. I know what he did.”
The beef between the two Hot Boys members stemmed from B.G. taking issue with Turk missing a performance at the Essence Festival for “business reasons.” However, B.G. did not keep his disdain in-house. Instead, he put Turk on blast during an Instagram Live session. This led to a falling out between the two rappers.
However, while B.G. says that he and Turk are currently on the outs, it sounds like he expects them to mend fences in the near future.
“When the time is right, we’ll sit down and talk. But that time hasn’t come yet,” he concluded.
However, things may have reached the point of no return between Turk and the rest of the Hot Boys. It turned out that those “business reasons” that Turk was referring to were a pay dispute between him and the promoters.
Turk asserts that he signed a contract to do the tour for $400,000. But over the summer, the promoters asked the Hot Boys member to take a pay cut for an undisclosed amount of money. After Turk refused to take the alleged pay cut, he was booted from the tour for “security reasons.”
After being sent home from the tour, Turk pursued legal action. And filed a lawsuit for $340,000 in lost wages. He is additionally suing for damages because the promoters continued to use his name and likeness to promote the shows even after he was booted.
