New Orleans rap legend B.G. is officially celebrating a long-awaited return to full freedom. As of February 4, 2026, the former Hot Boys member has successfully completed his two-year federal probation, bringing an end to a 15-year legal battle that began with his 2009 arrest.
To mark the milestone, the “Bling Bling” icon took his first cruise, currently sailing through the tropical waters of Mexico. The trip symbolizes a new chapter for B.G., who has spent years navigating both incarceration and strict legal supervision.
B.G. served approximately 12 and a half years in federal prison before being released in 2023. Following his release, he remained under supervised probation, which included restrictions that made it difficult for him to perform and fully re-enter the music industry. Despite those obstacles, he remained determined to reclaim his place in Hip-Hop.
Now, with probation behind him, B.G. is finally free to move forward without legal limitations. His Mexico cruise not only represents celebration but also closure, as the Cash Money Records veteran officially leaves behind one of the most challenging chapters of his life.
