Baby Keem opened up about a few key things in his interview with the NY Times’ Ross Scarano. Keem talked about many things including the Kendrick/Drake beef and a famous rapper he almost produced an album for.
What Were Baby Keem’s Thoughts on The Kendrick/Drake Beef
Keem kept his comments short when addressing the beef.
“For me, it felt like a sport,” Keem said of the beef. “I was so confident that sometimes you forget to be proud.”
Keem went on to discuss the support he felt from Kendrick Lamar and PgLang.
“I was just happy to be around,” Keem said. “Knowing that the greatest artist of all time, in my opinion, is a fan of my work and what I can do, all cousins aside, all everything aside, that gives me the most confidence in the world.”
Lamar appears to be taking a break from music after being spotted by an overzealous fan with his family at Disneyland. Drake, on the other hand is reportedly gearing up to release his long-teased Iceman.

Who’s album did Baby Keem Almost Produce?
Another revelation from Keem’s interview came when he revealed that he almost produced an album for Lil Uzi Vert.
According to Scarano, a few years ago Keem was with Uzi discussing making a record. While Uzi slept, Keem went through his hard drive, picking out the best unreleased material for a new record. But the album never came to fruition due to Keem leaving to open for Kendrick Lamar on the Big Steppers tour.
Keem indicated to Scarano that he’d like to revisit producing for Uzi.
Currently, Keem is on tour promoting his new album Ca$ino.
