Biana Nearly Divorced Ye Before He Went to Rehab
One source revealed to PEOPLE that the rap star’s struggles with bipolar disorder nearly cost him his marriage. Censori, was considering divorce before the Grammy-winner checked himself into rehab.
“Bianca had been very unhappy in their marriage for a while. And tried to get out a number of times,” the source said to the outlet.
In an email published by Vanity Fair in January, West revealed that he had entered a “deep depressive episode,” from an antipsychotic drug. It resulted with him entering a rehab facility in Switzerland.
In 2025, West went on a series of social media rants where he targeted several groups. His posts were filled with antisemitism. But his actions didn’t end on social media. He also did a viral interview with DJ Akademiks wearing a Klu Klux Klan uniform and dropped a track titled “Heil Hitler”.
Source Gets Honest on Ye’s Mental Health
Another source close to West said that for years, he would be on a “vicious cycle” where he would stir up drama. Whenever his mental health wasn’t where it needed to be.
“He’s been in this vicious cycle for years. When he’s not in a good space mentally, he tends to create so much drama, which then has lasting consequences,” the source said to the outlet.
However, the source also said that the rap star also has lucid moments where he “reaches a more stable place” and becomes “aware of the damages he’s caused,” and feels “intense guilt.”
“And when he reaches a more stable place, he becomes very aware of the damage he’s caused his family, friends, and himself,” the source added. “The awareness brings this intense guilt and regret, making it hard for him to stay emotionally healthy. He understands what he’s done, and that weighs heavily on him. By the time he’s feeling clearer, there’s already so much fallout.”
