UK vs. US Rap Clash Heats Up
UK rapper Big Zuu has officially entered the ring in the growing UK vs. US rap rivalry by releasing a diss track titled “Bun Em”—directly aimed at Eminem. The fiery track finds Zuu spitting over the beat of Eminem’s 2004 classic “Just Lose It,” flipping the playful original into a full-blown lyrical assault.
The visuals for “Bun Em” are stripped down but effective. Shot in a studio setting, Big Zuu bounces to the beat with bold, on-screen lyrics emphasizing every punchline. He doesn’t hold back, even taking a controversial jab by name-dropping Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade, in his rhymes—echoing the kind of provocation that defined classic rap beefs.
This diss comes as part of a larger movement within UK rap, with artists like Skepta recently calling for a lyrical war between British and American emcees. Zuu has been vocal on social media, declaring the UK “ready for any type of war,” and now he’s backing that up on wax.
Whether Eminem responds remains to be seen, but the shot has been fired—and the UK isn’t playing.
