BigXthaPlug is kicking off 2026 with some serious hardware to show for his recent run.
The Texas rapper was honored Saturday (Jan. 31) at UnitedMasters’ pre-Grammy Celebration of Independent Music at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The sold-out event turned into a major victory lap for BigX, who was surprised on stage by UnitedMasters founder Steve Stoute with six plaques celebrating his massive streaming and chart success.
BigX walked away with RIAA 2× platinum certifications for Take Care and his hit single “All The Way” featuring Bailey Zimmerman. He also received a YouTube plaque for hitting one million subscribers, a streaming plaque for I Hope You’re Happy surpassing one billion streams, and a Spotify plaque recognizing “Mmhmm” crossing 500 million streams.
The recognition follows a defining year for BigXthaPlug. In September 2025, “All The Way” earned him his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart. The track’s parent project, I Hope You’re Happy, further showcased his crossover reach, debuting in the top two on both the Top Rap Albums and Top Country Albums charts.
The event also doubled as a performance showcase. Jamaican rising artist Armanii opened the night, followed by BigX delivering a high-energy set. The celebration closed with Clipse taking the stage, joined by Pharrell Williams for a surprise appearance ahead of their scheduled performance at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
