On Wednesday night (April 29th), Boosie learned in a ceremony that May 10th would now be “Boosie Badazz Day,” by St. Landry Parish, in the county of Opelousas, LA.
The news got to Boosie, leading to him wiping tears from his eyes. He relished in the moment for over 30 seconds, before holding the plaque and addressing the crowd, visibly shaken.
“I just want to thank god cause nobody ever did something like this for me,” Boosie said. “I been coming [to the city] for a long time, doing shows around here. Just grateful.”
