Young Thug has the rap industry in shambles. Amid audio of the YSL founder’s interrogation being leaked, there has been a divide in the hip-hop community. And as a result, Boosie and Kodak Black are at odds.
It started with Kodak Black making a social media post questioning Boosie over his silence about Young Thug amid accusations of him being a rat.
Kodak Black & Boosie Trade Shots Over Young Thug Audio
“Where the hell is Boosie @? Fam was just the spokesman for this s**t ain’t got nothing to say. The n****s bu*****t,” Kodak wrote on Instagram via AllHipHop.
However, Boosie didn’t take long to respond to the “No Flockin’” creator. Boosie says he will speak out about the situation in due time. But not before the check clears.
“KODAK believe me when it’s time to speak on a situation, I’m going to speak, but it’s business I GET A BAG to speak on these situations,” Boosie wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.”
He also took shots at Kodak over the current state of his rap career. Telling the Florida native that his legacy will be dwindled to a “drug addict” whose rap career flames out.
“Your career has been downhill ever since. You f*****g over your legacy. You’re gonna be known as a drug addict before your talents,” Boosie added. “On top of that, you checked Pc my n***a COME ON MANE. You walked to the left when u got off the bus. The whole FED system will tell you this. I don’t wanna go back-and-forth with you. Get off the drugs and go get you some help, you’re f*****g the wrong one n***a.”
Meanwhile, Boosie is facing his own legal troubles. In August, he accepted a plea deal for gun possession charges. He is a convicted felon. So Boosie is not allowed to possess a firearm. The terms of the plea deal are pending, but he could face up to 15 years in prison.
