In August, rap star Lil Boosie accepted a plea deal for gun possession charges. He is a convicted felon. So Boosie is not allowed to possess a firearm. The terms of the plea deal are pending, but he could face up to 15 years in prison.

Boosie Banking on Pardon From President Trump

However, Lil Boosie is hoping that he does not have to spend any time behind bars as he has made multiple pleas to United States President, Donald Trump, for a Presidential Pardon.

During a recent run-in with TMZ, Boosie said that there is nothing concrete in the works as he awaits his sentencing. But he says he is “still working” diligently to receive a pardon from President Trump.

“I’m still working on it,” he explained to the outlet. “I’m still trying. As you know, my voice is a loud voice. So, I’m still gonna be asking the president for a pardon. Right now, I don’t have it. But, I’m confident about my situation and I feel good about my situation.”

Boosie is not the only rapper looking to receive a pardon from Trump.

According to a new report from TMZ, Combs believes that he could be freed from prison. As early as next year. As he has put his faith in the United States President, Donald Trump. I expect that he will grant him a pardon. At least that is what he has started to tell inmates. In addition, the outlet also says that Combs is also telling some of his fellow inmates that he will “take care” of them when he is released in 2026

Trump has previously confirmed that the Bad Boy Records founder has reached out for a pardon. But once again, no real motion on that front. In fact, Diddy’s release date has been pushed back from May 2028 to June 2028 over alleged bad behavior.
