Boosie is looking to get more than even for getting allegedly scammed in pursuit of a Presidential pardon. The Louisiana rapper revealed on social media that he’s trying to come up off this bamboozle.

What Did Boosie Say?

Originally, in a report by Notus, Boosie revealed he was suing law firm Burkman & Wohl for $600K after they failed to secure him a Presidential pardon. The duo, Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl allegedly told Boosie they had tight connections with Donald Trump’s team and could get him a pardon, if he paid up.

However, when New Year’s Day rolled around, Boosie’s lawyer got a call claiming Trump had already signed the pardon. When the lawyer pressed why there hadn’t been any information yet, the lobbyists allegedly claimed that the deal would be signed shortly. TMZ reported that a White House official denied Burkman & Wohl’s role in pursuing a pardon, saying there was no record of the firm submitting a claim. They also said doing so would have hurt Boosie’s chances for a pardon more.

The pardon never came, and Boosie told Notus he would take legal action. DJ Akademiks tweeted about the situation, prompting Boosie to respond.

“Boosie didn’t pay for a bribe he paid a lobbyist group to try to get him a pardon. Unfortunately for him legally they couldn’t guarantee him favorable results. Def not getting back the whole $600k but if that retainer agreement I saw is real he has a case for $300k back,” Ak posted.

Boosie then made it clear he was going for more.

“I’m suing for 10 million n federal court now #staytuned,” Boosie posted.

Boosie’s lawyer has not commented on the situation since the Notus report and has not confirmed if Boosie is actually taking the matter to federal court.

Why Is He Trying To Get A Pardon?

In June, Boosie, who has a long rap sheet, got into big trouble again.

The rap star allegedly smashed a glass hookah base over a bouncer’s head in an incident at Dome Nightclub in Houston.

Boosie’s lawyers have denied the allegations, saying the situation occurred out of de-escalation and self defense. The incident is under investigation. If convicted, it would be a felony assault.

If that happens, Boosie would break his probation stemming from a previous gun conviction. Feds have already recommended to revoke Boosie’s probation and sentence him to 18 months in prison as the case unfolds.

Boosie is out on bond for now, but will appear in court in September.
