Diplomats members Jim Jones and Cam’ron reignited their beef earlier this year after rap star 50 Cent went on Cam’Ron’s Talk With Flee podcast. During 50 Cent’s appearance, Cam’Ron referenced when the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ creator brought Jim Jones out on stage at a show during a time when Cam’Ron was at odds with the Queens-born artist. That led to Cam and Jim exchanging words and reigniting their beef.

Cam’ron Gets Candid on His Beef With Jim Jones

This isn’t the first time that Jim and Cam have been at odds. And in the past, they have been able to hash out their differences and move on. But during a recent appearance on Memphis Bleek’s Roc Solid podcast, Cam’ron said there won’t be a reconciliation this time around.

“The reunions and arguments and fighting, it’s been 15 years. The run was only seven years. We have had 15 years of disputes longer than the run,” Cam’ron said.

“I’m never going to say never. But at the end of the day, the dispute is 15 years old, and the run was seven years old. I don’t know if it can ever go right, you know? He got records dissing me earlier this year. I don’t really pay it any mind; people send it to me. But he put a song out called ‘Frienemies’ in [2009]. 17 years of diss records towards me. I don’t give a f**k.”

However, even though a reunion between the two former friends may be unlikely, Cam says he still wishes Capo all the best.

“Look, I always wish Jim the best. I hope he does well. He came a long way,” he added.

“This is my man who couldn’t rap that turned into my hype man that turned into an artist, directing videos. So his hustle is impeccable. We put out our first mixtape, 2001. The album came out in 2003. 2001 to, let’s say, we broke up in 2007, 2008… A six- to seven-year run. Our first reunion after we broke up was in 2010. If we can’t get it together now…”

Jim Jones has not responded to Cam’ron’s most recent comments.
