Cam’ron and Mase had some interesting things to say about rap star Cardi B on the most recent episode of their podcast, It is What it Is.
Earlier this month, the Bodak Yellow creator got in a public spat with her latest beau, Stefon Diggs.
In an exclusive TMZ video, Cardi and the former New England Patriots wide receiver can be seen having a heated argument. Outside of a Maryland coffee shop. What Cardi is yelling at her baby daddy is inaudible. But you don’t need a translator to see that she is clearly upset about something. Meanwhile, Stefon remains cool, calm, and collected as Cardi yells at him.
Cam’ron & Mase Sound Off on Cardi, Stefon Diggs Viral Clip
In response to the viral video, Cam’ron prefaced his statement by saying that he feels like Cardi B is “dope” and “sexy.” But asserts that what is shown in the clip is another example of why he no longer dates women from New York.
Mase adds that Women from New York City will really want to fight with their romantic partners. And Cam’ron adds that they will also want their partners to retaliate and hit them back. The Purple Haze creator also recalls a story. When one of his friends got into a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, and things went left.
“My man was fighting his girl like a real fight, and she kept hitting him, and he punched her in the face, and she stood there and said, ‘Yeah, I eat those,’” Cam’ron recalled.

In response to the video going viral, Cardi B noted that sometimes she becomes numb to her celebrity status. And warns fans that sometimes her actions can be misinterpreted.
“Sometimes I forget I’m a celebrity. Damn, y’all ain’t never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?” the rap star wrote on social media.
At the time of writing, Cardi B has not responded to the comments made by Mase and Cam’ron.
