Cam’ron has finally responded to Dame Dash’s peace offering. Well — sort of.
Cam’ron Responds to Dame Dash
During a recent taping of his Talk With Flee podcast, Cam’ron had a lot to say about the former Roc-A-Fella executive extending an olive branch. And he didn’t appear to be too accepting of Dame’s apology. Especially because the initial issue was between Dash and 50
“This whole s### started with Dame and 50,” Cam’ron said. “And then used me, talking about Dame, as a pawn, how I felt about it, to combat with 50, and I’m catching strays. Then I catch a stray, I can’t spin off and shoot back or anything.”
The entire debacle began after 50 Cent announced that he had acquired the rights to Dash’s 2002 film, Paid in Full. And would be turning the iconic film into a television series, executive-produced by Cam’ron.
That led to Cam’ron and Dame exchanging words on social media. And Dame at one point even threatened legal action. But ultimately, cooler heads prevailed after Dame extended an olive branch to Cam and 50 in a social media post. But Cam still remains skeptical about Dame’s intentions.
“You don’t know who to trust out here. You don’t know how a n***a feels today and how they’re gonna feel tomorrow. Man, that’s all I can say. I know one thing: I spoke to 50. Me and 50 straight, and we’re on the same page,” Cam’ron continued.
“I ain’t got nothing else to say about it. I thought we were snapping. And it just got really, really deep. I ain’t know it was lawyer deep off snapping. I know it got a little personal for him. But you know he got personal, too.”
To this point, Dame has not issued a response to Cam’ron’s recent comments. Stay tuned for more updates.
