Hip Hop fans rejoice, two legendary MCs have reportedly let bygones be bygones. On his show, “Talk With Flee,” Cam’Ron says he’s dropping his lawsuit against J. Cole following Cole’s appearance on the podcast.
Why Is Cam’Ron Dropping The Lawsuit
Back in October 2025, the New York rapper originally filed a lawsuit of $500,000 against J. Cole claiming breach of contract regarding his feature on Cole’s song “Ready ’24.” Killa alleged that Cole promised to appear on his podcast if he supplied a verse. Cam’Ron said Cole could either be a guest on his podcast It Is What It Is, or collaborate on a future song.
Shortly after announcing the lawsuit, Cole appeared on Talk With Flee to set the record. “When the lawsuit came out, I was like, ‘Come on Cam,’” Cole said. “My ego reaction is like, quietly, I’m like, ‘f*** this n****.’ But quickly I’m like, ‘Nah, I get it though.’”
A week after Cole’s appearance, Cam’Ron updated his audience on Talk With Flee that he would not go through with the lawsuit.
“I’m happy that we kept everything out of court,” Cam’Ron said. “I wasn’t really planning on going through with the lawsuit anyway. People thought it was fake, but the lawsuit was public record, you could go google it. At the end of the day I’m happy it went the way it went and we got it resolved.”
Cam’Ron continued, stressing there was never plans to take the dispute to court.
“I never really wanted to file a lawsuit it was just more about us trying to get everything done,” Cam’Ron said.
