Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Finals still has the NBA community buzzing. So of course, Cam’ron had to address it during the latest episode of his sports talk show, It is What it Is.
Cam’ron Has Hilarious Advice For Victor Wembanyama
The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs, the top two-seeded teams in the conference, did not disappoint in their Game 1 clash. As the two teams went into a double overtime thriller. The Spurs escaped with a 122-115 victory. San Antonio’s Victory came on the night that Thunder star Shai-Gilgeous Alexander received his 2026 NBA MVP Award. But after San Antonio’s star big man Victor Wembanyama put up an unreal 41 points and 24 rebounds, Cam’ron had a hilarious suggestion for him.
“Do not hand out MVPs while we’re on the floor or in the building… what Wemby should’ve done after the game is go right in the locker room and said, ‘Could you give me my trophy? Let me get my trophy,” he said as caught by KillaKrewww on X.
Cam’ron says Wembanyama should’ve SNATCHED the MVP trophy from SGA after they presented it right in front of him and claims Wemby is the real MVP after clutching up and shutting down OKC 😭🏀💀

The Spurs now have control of this series after stealing Game 1 in Oklahoma City and taking home-court advantage away from the defending champs. But this series is far from over. Despite pedestrian efforts from Shai, Jalen Williams, and Chet Homgren, the opportunities were right there for the Thunder to come out victorious. They were up three points in the final overtime period before Wembanyama hit a 40-foot logo shot to send the matchup into double OT.
It will be interesting to see if OKC can bounce back in Game 2.
