Rap femcees Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have been beefing for more than half a decade. But during the latest chapter of their war, things took a nasty turn.
Cardi B Issues Strong Warning Amid Beef With Nicki Minaj
Nicki and Cardi reignited their beef on social media on Tuesday (September 30). And it was a lot similar to their past confrontations. Except this time, the two stars dragged each other’s children into their beef.
Cardi appeared to brush off most of Nicki’s tweets aimed at her daughter, Kulture. Who called her things like “ugly,” “roach,” and a “monkey.” But once Cardi caught wind of the Pink Friday 2 creator threatening to “kick” her daughter, she had enough.
The Invasion of Privacy creator implored Minaj to drop her location. And said that she was ready to go to jail over Minaj’s comments.
“You said you were gonna kick my child’s gums back??? Didn’t you say you were in NY??? This is past words now.. WHERE TF YOU AT??? Cuz today is gonna be the day I go to jail,” Cardi wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on October 1.

It’s not clear why or how Minaj’s beef with Cardi got reignited. But the two have been at each other’s throats on social media for the past 72 hours.
But Minaj did reference her past issues with the Queens artist during the rollout of her album. Over the years, many people have made claims that Cardi is an industry plant who was created to halt Nicki’s reign as the Queen of rap. However, Cardi insists that she never got in the game to tear Nicki or anyone else down.
“So people have made this whole story that I came into the industry to like take over somebody’s career,” she said during a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “But it’s like, I never thought that. I just wanted to become famous at what I like to do … Sometimes people just don’t get along with each other.”
