Rap star Cardi B has never been known as a person to mince words. Amid the rollout for her new album, Am I The Drama?, which dropped on September 19, she is being even more transparent than usual.
During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday (September 24), she opened up about her plastic surgery.
Cardi B Says That Butt Reduction Caused Her Nerve Damage
The Bodak Yellow creator addressed the criticism from people that her butt is “too big.” In response, she revealed that she actually had a procedure to reduce the size of her butt. However, one of the aftereffects of that procedure is that the top part of her buttocks is “numb.”
“You know, sometimes people say that my butt is too big, but they don’t understand,” the rap star started. “They already did a butt surgery to reduce my a**. So you know, like, when people do a tummy tuck in your stomach? I practically did a tummy tuck on my a**. Like, on top, so I could remove some biopolymers. So, like the top of my a**, like that skin part is like numb, like a tummy tuck.”
Cardi B has never been shy about addressing the plastic surgery procedures she has had. While most celebrities try to keep the procedures they have a secret, the Bardi Gang leader prefers to address things head-on.
During a 2023 interview with Jason Lee of Revolt, Cardi addressed one of the misconceptions about plastic surgery. While some people may think that people who get procedures are doing it for the approval of others, Cardi B says that most times, that is not the case.
“This is the tricky thing about a lot of people. People will assume when you do surgery or something, you’re insecure about yourself or you hate yourself, and that’s just not the truth,” Cardi said. “If I want to correct something, if I want to do a little something-something like … I’m gonna do it. I like being perfect. I like a certain type of body, like, for myself.”
