Cardi B was in court on Tuesday (September 2) for a civil assault lawsuit filed by a former security guard, Emani Ellis, over an 2018 altercation, where he claims he was assaulted by the rap star.
Cardi B Throws Marker At Reporter Over Pregnancy Question
The Invasion of Privacy creator was exiting court on Tuesday when a reporter grilled her over rumors that she was pregnant with her and Offset’s fourth child.
“Cardi, insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time. Do you foresee any paternity issues with Stefon Diggs?” the reporter asked.
As the reporter continued to ask the question, Cardi grabbed a marker from a fan asking for an autograph and chucked it toward the reporter.
“Stop disrespecting me. Don’t disrespect me. Don’t disrespect me,’ Cardi said to the reporter.

Though it is unclear from the video angle whether she made contact. But the reporter didn’t seem to be bothered by it.
“You are amazing, Cardi. I still love you even though you just threw some stuff at me,” the reporter said.
The rap star continued to jaw back and forth with the reporter, and her security escorted her back to her vehicle.
“I don’t care that you are disrespectful. Don’t do that. Do you see women asking those types of questions to me? Why do you feel, as a man, that you can ask me those types of questions? Ask like you have some manners, and your momma taught you to respect women.”
Cardi has found herself in hot water for throwing things in the past. The rapper Cardi B is also being sued over her infamous 2023 microphone-throwing incident at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas. For those tardy to the party, a fan appeared to throw their drink on Cardi, and she responded by throwing her microphone at the fan’s head.
