The NFL kicked off the postseason with Wild Card Weekend. The Sunday finale featured two high-powered offenses in the Los Angeles Chargers and the New England Patriots.

Cardi B Trolls Chargers After Patriots Playoff Win

The game was uneventful for the most part. However, Drake Maye and the Patriots were able to emerge victorious by a score of 16-3. So, of course, rap star Cardi B, who is currently dating Patriots star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, had to add in her two cents.

“That’s what I’m talking about. Take them to Tulum,” Cardi said after the Patriots eliminated the Chargers. “They wanna go to Tulum, tonight on Delta. Put them on Delta.”

Diggs finished the game with 2 receptions for 16 yards. He and the Patriots will now get ready for a divisional matchup on Sunday. They will face the winner of Monday’s wild card matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans.

After just one playoff game, New England looks primed for a Super Bowl run. But Diggs knows that he and his team came into the postseason with a lot of doubters. In his pregame speech to his squad, Diggs noted how nobody believed in them. When addressing the comments that he made, Diggs believes that a lot of the doubt surrounding New England was due to the fact that they are a younger team.

“I think, from my vantage point, obviously, we’ve got a different scope of things. But, y’all are in the media. You see it each and every day. I don’t think anybody really liked us, nobody really believed in us,” Diggs told reporters after the win (via Boston.com).

“Maybe we were a young team,” Diggs added. “We’ve got a young quarterback, and throughout the season, we just grew, and we kind of grew together. As we’ve had this success, everybody’s been humbled, everybody’s been unselfish, and everybody wants to win.”
