Cardi B’s new album, Am I The Drama, has seemingly turned the rap industry on its head. Since Cardi dropped her new project, several past issues have resurfaced. One of those issues is her beef with former City Girls member JT.
Cardi B Continues to Troll JT Over Diss Track
After going back and forth on social media last week, JT brought the beef to the booth. As she laid down two new tracks, both of which target the Bronx femcee. However, despite the fan reactions to her new songs being decent, the streaming numbers said otherwise. As JT’s new song generated fewer than 25,000 streams. And Cardi did not hesitate to clown her for it.
“Spent a b*tch’s f*cking streams at the club, $25,000,” Cardi begins the video. She then begins rapping the song Magnet off her new project. “All that d**k ridin’, still ain’t get no feature-a** bi**h.”
Cardi then further clowns JT over the lyrics. Insinuating that she may get the Nicki Minaj feature after all, given their beef being reignited.
However, fans in the comments section on social media were quick to come to JT’s defense.
“JT torched Cardi, I don’t think she got a rebuttal,” one fan wrote on Instagram.
“But when somebody says something back to her, she wanna go into victim mode,” another user added.
“She really reciting her own diss track on her Instagram. Rap is dead,” another person said.
The song “Magnet,” which Cardi references in the social media post, is the song that reignited the issues between her and JT. The Invasion of Privacy creator appeared to target JT and her boyfriend Lil Uzi on the song, which appears on her new album.
“All that d*ck ridin’, still ain’t get no feature-ass b***h / She just mad she got a n***a she be sharin’ bags with / My n***a cheat, but I don’t stick no dildos in his ass, b***h /” she raps on the song.
With fans applying pressure for Cardi to get back in the booth, it will be interesting to see if she responds.
