Cardi B has had quite a turbulent love life dating back even before Offset. Now, with Stefon Diggs in the rearview, she’s moved onto a Nigerian soccer star with baggage of his own.
Cardi B’s New Relationship
The New York rapper has been photographed and linked with Nigerian national team goalie and Udinese Calcio stalwart Maduka Okoye. While there haven’t been any documented domestic disputes between the two yet, Okoye’s checkered past has put a damper on the excitement.
In 2025, Okoye was disciplined and suspended for two months after officials found he violated standards of fairness in a 2024 match against Lazio. Originally, Serie A officials accused him of fixing the match, though they reduced the allegation to a breach of fairness.
But the real smoke is coming from Okoye’s ex-girlfriend, Jelicia Westhoff, who levied some serious allegations against him on social media.
“Imagine i shut my f***** mouth, Lied about what YOU did to me, so you Could continue YOUR career and all you do is embarrassing US,” Westhoff posted. “YOU make me look like I’m a bitter Baby mother when i helped you when NO one was there for you!!! I MADE YOU! NO ONE KNEW WHO YOU WAS AND INSTEAD OF loving US. YOU Beated me! Cheated ON ME with MEN AND WOMAN YOUR a F*****DEMONWHO TRIED TO DESTROY MY LIFE YOU DONT TAKE CARE OF YOUR 1 and only SON! BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO BE WITH YOU I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU BEING NICE AND PEACEFULL BRINGS YOU NO WHERE YOUR A RAT and i wish I WAS JUSR LIKE YOU but i tried for My son to be a good co parent to erase your wrong doings because you made me believe that i was the problem!!!”
Westhoff is claiming Okoye beat her, cheated on her with men and women, gaslit her, and is an absent father to his son.

Cardi B Has Responded
Cardi saw the news circulating online and responded on Instagram.
“No cap, I’m really Hip Hop’s Britney Spears,” Cardi B said. “I’m really feeling like m********* Britney cause let me tell you something. A lotta these celebrities, I got all the tea on them. I know who f****** who and all that s*** but guess what. Nobody reports on them, you wanna know why? Cuz nobody gives a f***. But when it comes to me, I can’t even p*** in a m****** cup b****. This s*** is m******** crazy but you gotta take the good with the bad. People pay for this type of s***. Bring in the m****** drama then b****.”
Okoye has not responded to the allegations against him as of this writing.
