Cassie Claims Diddy Stopped ‘Freak Off’ To Confront Suge Knight

During her testimony, the former music star recalled some of the gruesome things she experienced during their 11-year relationship. One part of her testimony that particularly stuck out was a story involving Suge Knight, the former CEO of Death Row Records.

Cassie recalled Combs receiving a call that Knight was having dinner in Los Angeles one night. After receiving the news, he abruptly ended one of his infamous “freak offs” to confront him.

“We were having a freak-off in one of [Diddy’s] homes in LA, and he said Suge was at Mel’s Diner, and we packed up and drove down there,” Cassie claimed, according to NBC.

“I was screaming and crying, ‘Please don’t do anything stupid.’ I didn’t know what they were going to do.”

Despite pleading with Combs to stop, her pleas fell on deaf ears. The former Bad Boy artist says it was like she “wasn’t even there.”

Knight is the founder of Death Row Records, who was at odds with Combs’ label, Bad Boy, in the 1990s. He is also currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for a manslaughter conviction.

Despite being in a world of legal trouble, Suge Knight has a different take on Diddy’s situation. Knight believes that the people in his inner circle are just as guilty.

Regardless of who gets hurt, all everybody has been saying is ‘Puffy, Puffy, Puffy,'” Knight said on a 2024 episode of his Collect Call podcast. “I think they shouldn’t all blame everything on Puffy. His exes in the industry knew about it. Everybody in his crew knew about it. The bi**hes he dates knew about it. Everybody knew about it. So don’t push away from it now.”
