Cassie has reportedly moved out of the United States and says she has no plans to return.
According to TMZ, the singer revealed the move in a court declaration dated May 1, 2026, as part of her ongoing legal battle involving male escort Clayton Howard. In the filing, Cassie reportedly stated, “I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.”
The declaration comes after Cassie reached a reported $20 million settlement with Diddy over allegations of abuse. Last summer, while pregnant and living in New York, Cassie testified during Diddy’s federal criminal trial.
In the new filing, Cassie also clarified her legal residency status, stating that she is a U.S. citizen but not a resident of California. The declaration was submitted in connection with Howard’s lawsuit against Cassie and Diddy in California.
Cassie has not publicly revealed where she is now living abroad, but she reportedly argued that attending court proceedings in New York would be easier for her since her attorneys are based there.
