Chance The Rapper has officially announced his upcoming album, Star Line.
The Chicago artist continues to push creative boundaries, both for himself and his audience, delivering work that resonates across generations. It’s been six years since his debut album The Big Day, but the wait for new music is nearing an end.
Star Line draws inspiration from Chance’s recent travels, rooted in the strength and resilience found within the global Black diaspora. The album, produced alongside longtime collaborator DexLvL, was shaped during visits to Ghana, Jamaica, and international art fairs.
The album’s cover art—seen above—was created by Chicago-based visual artist Brandon Breaux, who also designed the iconic visuals for Acid Rap and Coloring Book. Their creative partnership spans over a decade, with Breaux once again bringing Chance’s vision to life through the imagery of Star Line.
