Radio personality Charlamagne the God has some advice for Drake, as he prepares for the release of his ninth studio album, Iceman.

Charlamagne Encourages Drake to Move on From Kendrick Beef

Iceman will be Drake’s first solo project since his 2024 feud with Kendrick Lamar. And amid the rollout for the project, some fans have suggested that Drake could reignite their feud on his upcoming project. After one of the photo art concepts featured a picture of Pinocchio’s head in a beam.

During a recent episode of his Brilliant Idiots podcast, Charlamagne encouraged the Grammy-winner to move on from the feud between him and Kendrick’s 2024 feud, and to just focus on the music.

“Ain’t no circling the block. Just go ahead and make your records for the club,” Charlamagne said in a clip caught by Kurrco on X. “Make your records for the ladies. Like, keep it moving. Nobody wants to see you circle the block. You lost.”

The Breakfast Club host also said that Drake’s continued focus on the rap battle is only making things worse for himself. And that taking the L would essentially help everybody move on.

“He’s still Drake. But you lost a rap battle,” he added. “That’s it. Keep it moving. The only person who made this situation worse after the fact was you.”

However, many fans in the comments section of the social media post were not buying what Charlamagne was selling.

“They’re so scared of this album, they’re making up narratives already,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Damn, what is Drake saying on this album that has these n***as BEGGING him not to say,” a second user chimed in.

“If you really got smoke for someone, ain’t no such thing as moving on. I don’t get why I see people keep pushing this,” a third user remarked.

Iceman is set to drop on May 15.
