Young Thug was the subject of heavy backlash on Wednesday (August 27). A video of the rap star’s interrogation interview was leaked on social media. And in the video, he appears to implicate YSL affiliate PeeWee Roscoe as the person behind Lil Wayne’s tour bus being shot in 2015.
In the audio, Thug says, “They said Roscoe, but I don’t wanna block out y’all’s case by saying Roscoe ain’t do that.” he also notes, “Every day [Roscoe] broke the f*****g law.”
Some painted the rap star as a snitch. Others claimed that he stayed solid.
Charleston White Clowns Young Thug Over Leaked Interrogation
In response to the video, social media personality Charleston White chimed in. And clowned the rap star. Noting that he did not have to talk. But that was the choice that he made.
“I prophesied this. I told y’all Young Thug was gone to tell it. First thing they tell you before you sit down is you do know you have the right to remain silent,” he said. |Anything you say can and will be used against you. You have a right to an attorney. You have a right to have an attorney present. Right then and there, you don’t want to talk anymore. Well, I thought we didn’t talk to the police.”
Since being released from prison last year, Thug has thrown several subliminals at his label mate Gunna. Seemingly accusing him of being a rat after entering an Alford plea in the YSL Rico trial. However, in light of the leaked audio, White called out the rap star for being a hypocrite.
“A two-hour interrogation,” he continued. “And you mad at Yak Gotti? You mad at Gunna? Gunna don’t have any interrogation tape. And everybody is mad at Gunna. This is what I tell y’all. Hip hop is fake. They pick and choose.”
He then sarcastically invited Young Thug to leave street life alone completely. And join forces with him.
“Come on over with me, Young Thug. Turn in your jersey, Young Thug, and come on over here and sit down with the tattletail. You didn’t take the stand, but you told,” he added.
“This is why y’all ship sunk. The whole YSL-tell group was a loose lip full of boys. They weren’t just talking in the interrogation room. They were talking on record, too. Confessing on record.”
