Chris Brown isn’t letting anything—or anyone—slow down his Breezy Bowl XX World Tour.
The R&B superstar touched down in Manchester this week for his first of two shows at the U.K.’s new Co-Op Live arena, and the energy was already on 10. But Breezy took things even further when he brought out a surprise guest that had the whole building shaking.
Midway through the set, none other than 50 Cent popped up to perform his classic “What Up Gangsta,” and the crowd absolutely lost it. Fan footage shows the arena going wild as soon as the beat dropped, with Fif commanding the stage like it was 2003 all over again. He didn’t stop there—he ran through hits like “Many Men,” giving the audience an unexpected double headliner moment.
The link-up wasn’t completely random either—50’s currently on tour in the U.K. as well, so the timing lined up perfectly. But while the moment onstage felt celebratory, there’s been tension brewing behind the scenes.
Chris Brown Performs After Tumultuous Legal Fight
Chris Brown’s Manchester stop marks his first time performing in the U.K. since he was hit with legal trouble tied to a 2023 nightclub incident in London. Authorities charged him with grievous bodily harm with intent in connection to an altercation at Tape Nightclub.
50 Cent was quick to show support for his longtime friend, calling out the situation in a post on social media. “Damn they doing CB dirty, they knew about this case for 2 years,” Fif wrote. “This is gonna f*ck up the whole tour. WTF going on!”
After Brown posted a $7 million bond, 50 once again took to Instagram to stand by him. “CB out he made bond,” he wrote. “I’m only saying shit about him because I think he is the best overall artist out. I watched his whole run!”
As for now, Brown is back on stage—but under tight restrictions. A judge has ordered him to stay at a court-approved location, avoid the alleged victim, and steer clear of Tape Nightclub. He also had to surrender his passport, though his legal team was able to negotiate a system that lets him travel for tour dates. For each international show, his lawyers temporarily check out his passport, and once he lands, it gets handed off again until the next city.
Even with legal heat following him across borders, Breezy is making it clear—he’s not backing down from the stage anytime soon.
