Even through the whirlwind of NFL preseason flurries and the uprise of protests in his name, NFL Superbowl Quarterback Colin Kaepernick is remaining true to his dedication to donate $1,000,000 dollars to various community based non-profit organizations. His latest demonstration of “putting money where the mouth is” is directed towards J. Cole’s Fayetteville, NC based Dreamville Foundation, according to a report from ESPN’s Darren Rovell, via Twitter:

The Dreamville Foundation’s mission is “To reveal to the urban youth, their limitless potential, through positive life- altering experiences”, according to their website. No immediate information on the specifics of where the donation will go within their programming, but according to a statement from Colin, there will be news of several projects that caught his specific interest coming within the next few weeks.
This news comes weeks after Cole publicly reiterated his support of the NFL star during a show in Baltimore. The 4 Your Eyez Only wordsmith commended Kaepernick for putting his career on the line in favor of social justice.
For anyone living under a rock, Colin Kaepernick polarized the sports world by kneeling for the Star Spangled Banner in a gesture of solidarity with victims of police brutality across the country and the world. Many believe this is the cause of the QB currently being without a team, even as players with less talent and experience find themselves comfortably employed.
