Common and The Nationals gave a concert to help raise money for Planned Parenthood. Common made it very clear during his set that he wanted to make the Trump Administration understand that there are millions of people ready and willing to fight for women’s right to choose. Common stated that he was honored to be apart of raising money for women’s right to have freedom of their bodies.

Hip-Hop in general has garnered a reputation of being a misogynist culture. Common ha never had that reputation but has managed to be on the top of his craft and be one of the most consistent Hip-Hop artist of all-time.
