Conway The Machine is dealing with the fallout of his viral concert video. The Buffalo rapper threw a picture of Griselda into the crowd and it caused fans to speculate on a rift between the original founders. Now, he’s addressing the controversy.
What Did Conway The Machine Say About The Video?
During the show, Conway tossed a Griselda photo off the stage before saying, “Alright, now we ready,” leaving fans stunned at the act.
Conway has apparently seen the backlash and chose to respond to the video post on his Instagram in a comment.
This what’s wrong with the f***** rap culture now and why I don’t f*** wit it as much no more.” Conway posted. As dope as the show was, you don’t post none of the show at all, instead y’all choose to post THIS, to try to make something of nothing, to have a viral moment and create a bulls*** narrative.
He went on to question why the coverage took him out of context.
“Why didn’t you post me signing my autograph on all those same pictures for you and showing ve and kickin it with you outside after the show and everything, why didn’t you post THAT video punk.”
UPDATE: Conway called out the venue that posted the video for “creat[ing] a bullshit narrative.”

The original poster of the video, Van Stylez, immediately issued an apology to Conway via Instagram.
“I want to personally apologize to @whoisconway and his team for the video I posted the other day, which I’ve since removed,” Stylez said. “I know apologies aren’t exactly “hip hop,” but the truth is I got into this space to push the culture forward—not to go viral off sensationalism. #Griselda is one of the greatest rap collectives of all time, hands down. Conway has always been gracious and down to earth with his supporters.
Stylez went on to reflect on his actions.
“This was a reminder to consider how all parties may be affected before posting,” Stylez said. “Much love and respect to Conway, Westside (Gunn), and Benny (The Butcher). Looking forward to supporting everything you’ve got in the works.”
Conway accepted the apology with grace, and even offered to come on the poster’s show.
This drama comes amid Benny The Butcher saying a new Griselda album is long overdue.
