Cordae Shows Off Physical Transformation After New Album Reaches Top Of The Hip Hop Charts

Cordae has unveiled many revelations during the rollout of his latest collab album with Anderson Paak Heavy Is The Crown.

The main one came on “Helpless” where he spoke on his breakup with tennis star Naomi Osaka for the first time publicly.

“Was never my intention to raise my daughter in separate homes. Gavе your mom my all, but the love she had for mе dead and gone. Although you ain’t a man if you can’t admit it when you was wrong.”

Neither Cordae or Osaka have detailed exactly what caused the split, but in 2025, she gave her side of the story in a brief statement.

“No bad blood at all, he’s a great person and an awesome dad,” Osaka wrote on Instagram.

She also praised him as a father and didn’t accuse him of any wrongdoing.

However, the emotional toll of the album lead to a positive result, and not just through its sales.

Cordae showed off his brand new physique with a video of him benching, as he reflected on the hard work it took to get fit.

“How I I looked when we started this album vs now. More than physically I’m mentally, and spiritually more sound than I’ve been in my whole life, despite the BS lol,” Cordae says.

In more good news, the album is performing well, projecting to debut number one on Billboard’s Hip Hop charts.

Cordae also may have a second child on the way, which he alludes to on “Heartless.”
