Beyoncé recently fell victim to a real-life heist. According to Atlanta police, her choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue had their rental SUV broken into on July 8 — and among the items snatched were jump drives holding unreleased music, exclusive show footage, plus past and future set lists tied to Bey’s stage production.
That’s not just a loss — that’s intel.
Per reports, Grant and Blue told police they parked in a downtown Atlanta deck around 8 p.m. and dipped out for about an hour. When they came back, the trunk had been popped and two suitcases were gone. Laptops, earbuds, luxury clothing, all part of it — but the real concern is the Beyoncé tour material that went missing.
Authorities say an arrest warrant has been issued, though they’re keeping the suspect’s name under wraps for now. Cops tracked the stolen laptop and headphones using their location data and pulled a couple of light fingerprints from the scene, but there’s no confirmation yet if any of the high-value items have made their way back to Beyoncé’s camp.
With her Atlanta dates already in motion, there’s no public statement from Bey’s team on how this might affect the show — but if history’s any indicator, Beyoncé isn’t one to let situations like this slow down the machine.
