Dame Dash is calling out The Breakfast Club’s Loren LoRosa after she reported on the latest developments surrounding his bankruptcy.
Dash questioned why LoRosa continues to highlight negative stories about him while, in his view, overlooking the positive projects and business moves he has going on.
“They said they won’t let me go bankrupt. They don’t believe it,” Dash said. “No one reported that… But what The Breakfast Club did report was when I asked my daughter for some money, and now they’re reporting whatever b******* is going with bankruptcy. I just feel like y’all make it too obvious. Why don’t you ever talk about any of the good stuff? Are you guys trying to line me up? Am I broke or am I not broke Bad people are always going to try to make good people look like they’re not doing the right thing. But why are you the voice of everything bad and nothing good, Loren? You’re a Black woman. Why would you want to amplify bad stuff for Black people but not amplify anything good for this Black man? Either way, I’m hustling.”
The Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder expressed frustration with what he sees as one-sided coverage, arguing that the media often focuses more on his financial and legal issues than his current accomplishments.
His comments have since sparked a wider conversation about how celebrities are covered when both controversy and positive developments are happening at the same time.

Dash & His Daughter
The report comes off the heels of Dash’s daughter’s reality show appearance.
During the show Next Gen NYC, Dash and his daughter, Ava, had a lighthearted exchange where he asked if she had received the money he sent. She replied no, and then told production that she loans her dad thousands of dollars sometimes. Now, Ava said her father pays it right back, but she also said he currently owes her money.
Dash has dealt with many legal disputes involving tax charges, child support, and various unpaid bills and judgments. Several of his businesses have ended up in court, for tax issues, withholding payments, and other offenses.
