Jay-Z completed a three-night run at Yankee Stadium to celebrate the anniversaries of Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint. Much of the rap industry is still buzzing about his string of performances. But not his former Roc-A-Fella business partner Dame Dash.
Dame Dash Clowns Jay-Z Over Yankee Stadium Run
Following Hov’s three-night run, Dash sat down for an interview with Art of Dialogue. And when asked for his review of Jay-Z’s three-night run, Dame said it made him not want to see “old n****s” on stage anymore.
“It made me have the desire to not see old ni**s on stage no more. I just don’t want to see it. I want to see crispiness. I don’t wanna see old cut, Roc-A-Wear style clothes. I want to see what the young n****s got going on,” Dame said. “I think that’s the problem. That the old n****s never want to pass the plug to the younger n****s? They always want to stay the freshest.”

Dame Dash goes off on Jay-Z’s three-show Yankee Stadium run and says it made him have the desire not to see old n*ggas onstage no more.

Dame was an integral part of Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint. So it’s understandable how he could have sour feelings about not being included in the celebration. And those feelings were apparent throughout the weekend.
In a video posted to his social media account on Saturday (July 11), Dame posts an AI video of him and Jay-Z reuniting at one of his Yankee Stadium concerts. But there is an unexpected plot twist. After Jay and Dame shake hands on stage, the former Roc-A-Fella exec and several SWAT agents come onto the stage and arrest Dame.
Dame appears to be trying to incite a reaction out of Jay-Z. But it doesn’t appear to be working. The rapper has not responded to any of his recent criticisms.
