Dame Dash has been on a warpath as of late. And it all started when 50 Cent announced that he had acquired the rights to Dame Dash’s 2002 film, Paid in Full. And would be turning the critically acclaimed movie into a television series. To add insult to injury, 50 Cent revealed that he would be employing Dash’s longtime rival Cam’ron as executive producer on the upcoming project.
Dame Dash Extends Olive Branch to 50 Cent & Dame Dash
Since the announcement was made, Dash has made it his mission to ensure that 50 and Cam’ron were aware of how he felt about their new partnership. Through a series of social media posts and even another viral interview on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club. But in Dame’s latest social media post, his tone about the situation has completely changed. He has offered an olive branch to the two former rap stars to put their differences aside.
“I’m sitting here on the dock looking at the view, and I’m thinking, like, why am I beefing with Cam?” Dame said in a video posted to his Instagram account on Sunday (September 21).
“The only reason is that I never got to talk to him. He publicly said he wasn’t gon to talk to me. But almost every OG from Harlem and everyone I respect is like, cut this s**t. It’s embarrassing.”
Dame also extended an offer to both Killa Cam and 50 to “sit down and talk like real men.” Noting that their back-and-forths on social media have gotten out of hand.
“Instead of us talking about each other on f*****g social media like clowns, let’s sit down and talk like real men,” he said. “Let’s take this off the street. The street right now is the internet, and this s**t is corny. So, I don’t wanna fight with y’all no more.”
Neither 50 nor Cam’ron has responded to Dame’s offer.
