Dash and Jay-Z were on top of the world during their stint with Roc-A-Fella Records. They broke out talent such as the Diplomats, Beanie Sigel, and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
Dame Dash Calls Out Jay-Z Again
But they had a falling out over the sale of Roc-A-Fella to Def Jam. The company that Jay-Z became President of shortly after the deal was finalized.
Fast forward to the present day, and Jay and Dame have forged completely different paths for themselves. Hov has his own successful music label in Roc Nation and several lucrative partnership deals with the likes of the NFL and Ace of Spades champagne. Dame, on the other hand, recently filed for bankruptcy.
During a recent interview with Cam Capone News, Dash reignited his beef with the music mogul. He called out Jay-Z for not looking out for his other artists.
“Homeboy is cold. He doesn’t look out for anybody,” Dash said of HOV.
Dash also took the time to clap back at former Roc-A-Fella artist Memphis Bleek, who recently called him out on Drink Champs for his past comments about Jay-Z. Dame said he believes that the only reason Bleek is still so loyal to HOV because he still gets a lot of opportunities from him.
“Bleek is still so loyal because he understands he still gets a lot of opportunities from him. He’s just not going to enable him, so I respect that,” he added. “But, you know, for me, he also said something like… He said some slick s**t about me, but I didn’t get offended. His perspective is different from mine. No man’s hand is feeding me. I’m not biting or putting my fingers in my mouth. I’m the man whose hand they bite.”
Despite constant verbal attacks from Dame, Jay-Z has yet to respond to him.
