Everlasting Films, LLC submitted the highest bid during the October 1 auction. On October 21, the trustee overseeing the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder’s bankruptcy notified the Florida court handling the case of the auction’s outcome.
The package includes exclusive worldwide rights to Dash’s life story, approximately 100 hours of video footage, photographs and memorabilia, plus rights to an unreleased documentary or film project currently in development.
Everlasting Films initially submitted a $37,000 opening bid before ultimately winning at $550,000. The transaction still requires closing. If the company fails to complete the purchase within the required period, backup bidder Doug Peters is positioned to acquire the rights for $500,000.
According to Complex, trustee Traci K. Stevenson began seeking approval for the auction in August, arguing that Dash’s life rights represented a valuable asset because of his public profile and history with Roc-A-Fella Records. The court approved the auction plan the following month.
Dash filed for bankruptcy in September 2025, reporting approximately $25 million in debts and $4,350 in personal assets, the outlet reported.
The auction marks another significant development in the entrepreneur’s financial troubles, putting the commercial rights to his story on the table to help repay creditors.
