Dave Blunts Hospitalized Ahead of Album Release
The 23-year-old has previously gone viral for being in poor health. So poor he has to perform sitting down, more often than not attached to an oxygen tank. Because of lack of air supply. But this time around things have taken such a bad turn. So bad that it is preventing him from dropping his album, which he intended to drop later this month.
“As I lay here in my hospital bed for the 1000th time I start to realize that this time is more devastating than any other previous hospital visit,” Blunts said in the Instagram post.
“Not because of my deteriorating health. But because I made a promise that my album would still come out on Friday. But due to my health I haven’t been able to finish my album.”
After being hospitalized at the end of 2024 after allegedly contracting the flu at a fan meet and greet, the rapper said he was committed to getting his health on track in 2025.
“I didn’t want you guys to think I wasn’t taking my health journey seriously. I promise I am 100 percent focused on bettering my health in 2025. And this setback is making me feel like I can’t do it because every time I try something like this happens,” he wrote.
“I had been doing so good by walking and standing up at my shows instead of sitting down and showing people that I was actually making progress but I guess it was all for nothing. I’m not giving up as long as you guys don’t give up on me but this s*** is hard.”
