Desiigner has encountered a downward spiral since his 15 minutes of fame ran out. Now, he’s in big trouble after a domestic dispute led to an alleged crime.
What Did Desiigner Allegedly Do?
On Tuesday (July 14th), reports surfaced that the “Panda” rapper had been arrested. Allegedly, Desiigner chased a woman with a hammer and damaged neighbors’ cars with both a hammer and screwdriver. The rapper has been charged with domestic violence, and three counts of malicious injury to animals or personal property.
The charges count as a felony, with each punishable by up to five years in prison. One of his counts set a bond of $1,500, but no bond is set for the other charges.
Reportedly the domestic dispute began because the rapper was taking tvs off a wall. Him and the woman got into a heated argument, resulting in the rapper picking up a hammer and allegedly smashing her phone. She fled out of the house, calling out for help as he chased her. He then caught her, threw her to the ground, and took her purse and threw it over a fence.

More Legal Troubles For Desiigner
The New York rapper has mostly been in the news for legal trouble. Back in March, he also got into a domestic dispute, at the same house. This time, he had a bond set at $1,500 and was released. That dispute occurred when Desiigner and a woman presumed to be the mother of his child, got into an argument that left her with minor scratches.
a 9/11 call was released online and shed more light on the situation.
“She’s trying to do grand theft auto on my car… she has my son, I need my son,” he says on the call.
At one point, the Brooklyn rapper claims he believed “somebody put something bad in my weed” and admitted he was struggling mentally, even revealing suicidal thoughts. He also told the dispatcher he had an Airsoft gun “just to have one,” prompting concern about a possible weapon.
Desiigner is currently in custody, as he did not receive a bond for his domestic violence charge. It’s unclear if the woman he allegedly chased with a hammer is the same woman he assaulted back in March.
