In the recording, obtained by TMZ, the “Panda” rapper sounds visibly distressed as he tells dispatchers a woman was allegedly trying to take his car while their young son was with her.
“She’s trying to do grand theft auto on my car… she has my son, I need my son,” he says, repeatedly arguing about car keys during the call.
At one point, the Brooklyn rapper claims he believed “somebody put something bad in my weed” and admitted he was struggling mentally, even revealing suicidal thoughts. He also told the dispatcher he had an Airsoft gun “just to have one,” prompting concern about a possible weapon.
The situation appears to have been highly emotional, with Desiigner heard shouting threats during the call and claiming the woman “bothers him every day,” adding that he had surveillance “receipts.”
According to police, the woman believed to be the mother of his child alleged the argument turned physical, leaving her with minor scratches. Authorities later released Desiigner on a $1,500 bond.
