Sean “Diddy” Combs has asked a federal judge for mercy ahead of his sentencing on Friday, where he faces conviction on two prostitution-related charges.
In a letter to the court obtained by Fox News Digital, Combs apologized for “all of the hurt and pain” caused by his actions, writing:
“I take full responsibility and accountability for my past wrongs. This has been the hardest two years of my life, and I have no one to blame for my current reality and situation but myself.”
Combs is expected to address Judge Arun Subramanian directly during Friday’s hearing. His legal team is seeking a 14-month sentence, while prosecutors have pushed for a minimum of 11 years behind bars.
The disgraced music mogul also revealed he has been free of drugs and alcohol “for the first time in 25 years,” crediting his faith for his sobriety:
“I praise God that I’m stronger, wiser, clean, clear and sober.”
