Disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs apparently appreciates all the love that Usher has recently shown him.
Diddy Shows Love to Usher After Recent Comments
In a statement to TMZ, Diddy’s rep, Juda Englemayer, says that Combs recently said that he has “always” had “love and respect” for the singer, following his recent comments.
“I’ve always had love and respect for Usher. I appreciate his words and everything he’s achieved,” the statement reads.
Diddy’s statement is in response to Usher’s recent sit-down with Forbes’ The Enterprise Zone. During his interview, Usher came to the defense of the Bad Boy Records founder, despite his 2025 conviction. He even suggested that he had been “misrepresented” in the media.
“In many ways, I think certain people are prosecuted. And maybe not recognized for the greatness that they offer,” Usher said as heard through PEOPLE. “I don’t have anything negative to say about Sean Combs because my experience was not what the world has seen and how he’s been misrepresented.”
In 2024, Combs was swept up by the feds on charges of racketeering, trafficking, and interstate prostitution. Following his arrest, several other people came forward. To say that they were victims of similar behavior on the part of the music mogul.
But despite all that has been revealed about Combs, Usher says that he chooses to “acknowledge” the “valuable contributions” Combs has made. Rather than revisit what he has done in the past.
“I can’t, with any sense of humanity, not recognize the valuable contributions that this man made,” Usher added. “For us as Black entrepreneurs. For us as businessmen, for us as people who transition culture and ideas into something tangible and becomes business.”
Combs is set to be released from prison in April 2028.
