Diddy was able to evade the most serious charges of racketeering and trafficking. This means that even though he was found guilty on the charges of prostitution he won’t be facing a life sentence.
Combs scored another legal victory following the verdict. The Making The Band creator was accused of rape in a separate civil lawsuit. However, some of the charges in that lawsuit were recently dismissed by New York Judge Leslie A. Stroth dismissed, including the rape charges.
