Diddy will reportedly be getting out of prison earlier than previously expected.
According to Rolling Stone, the Federal Bureau of Prisons website now lists the music mogul’s projected release date as April 25, 2028 — more than five weeks earlier than a previously scheduled June date.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix following convictions on two prostitution-related charges. Since arriving at the facility in October, his projected release date has shifted multiple times. It was initially listed as May 8, 2028, then later pushed back to June 4, 2028 in November 2025.
Reports indicate the updated release date is tied to his acceptance into the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), which can allow eligible inmates to receive sentence reductions upon successful participation.
In a statement, his representative said, “Mr. Combs is an active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) and has taken his rehabilitation process seriously from the start. He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change.”
With the revised date now set for April 2028, Diddy’s release timeline appears to be officially moved up — pending any further adjustments.
