Despite a mountain of evidence against him, music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was found not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering in his federal trial this past May. But the Bad Boy Records founder’s problems may just be beginning.
Diddy’s Former Stylist Accuses Him of Assault
In the fallout of his federal trial, several other people have come forward. Alleging that they have been abused by Diddy. The latest person to come forward is his former stylist, Deonte Nash.
In the complaint filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Nash says that he was sexually abused by Combs. From 2008 and 2018. When he was working as a stylist for him and Cassie Ventura, who was his girlfriend at the time.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, Nash says he is ready to “take action” against the Bad Boy Records founder.
“After enduring years of abuse, I finally found the courage during the criminal trial, and I am now ready to take action,” Nash said. “Sean Combs has never taken accountability for the years of harm he inflicted on me and so many others. Today, I am free from the confinement his abuse imposed, and I have reclaimed my voice.”
Nash also says that the “horrific abuse” he suffered at the hands of Combs has “consistently affected” his personal and professional life. And is demanding justice as a result.
“It is time for the world to confront the truth about the horrific abuse I endured and the lasting impact of Mr. Combs’ actions on my life,” Nash added. “His abuse has consistently affected every part of my life, from my personal well-being to my career, and the damage cannot be ignored. I am reclaiming my story and demanding the justice I deserve.”
Meanwhile, Diddy is still not out of the woods as it pertains to his federal trial. He was found guilty on the prostitution charges related to Jane Doe and Cassie. He could face up to ten years in prison.
