After weeks of flirting in interviews and on social media, DJ Akademiks and Daphne Joy appear to have finally taken things offline.
On Saturday (June 27), Ak shared four cozy photos on X showing him and Joy locked in a romantic embrace during what looked like a dinner date, leaving fans wondering whether the chemistry is genuine or simply social media gold.
Their unexpected connection started after Akademiks interviewed Joy following the controversy surrounding her leaked sex tape involving Diddy and adult film performer Sly Diggler. During the conversation, Akademiks openly admitted he was attracted to her, and Joy later said she was “attracted” to his attraction toward her.
Joy has since spoken positively about Akademiks during appearances on No Jumper and Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast, where she said she’d happily go on a date with him.
