Drake dropped his ninth studio album, Iceman, on Friday (May 15). And he didn’t leave any stone unturned on the new project.
Drake came out firing … literally. On the album’s intro Make Them Pay, he calls out famed producer, DJ Khaled. For his silence during his 2024 feud with Kendrick Lamar. And the current war between Israel and Palestine.
“And, Khaled, you know what I mean. The beef was fully live, you went halal, and got on your deen. And your people are still waitin’ for a free Palestine, but apparently everything isn’t black and white and red and green, damn I’m seein’ everyone’s true colors, for real, I’m sensin’ a theme,” he raps on the song.
DJ Khaled Responds to Drake’s Diss
It did not take long for Khaled to respond to Drake, who has been a longtime collaborator. Khaled made an interesting social media post on Friday (May 15). And while he doesn’t call out Drake by name, he does send a message to his enemies.
“LET GOD RISE, AND ALL HIS ENEMIES SCATTER. No man nuh badda than JAH and a wi a run JAH crew Unoo come in a unoo thousands and two,” he said in a post caught by FearedBuck on X. “They stand against you and hating me Dem just caant go through dem heart nuh clean nor free I remind dem so much of who they are supposed to be 1 am of royalty dem lost dem identity.”
