Nicki Minaj was one of the celebrities in attendance at the White House Rose Garden luncheon on Monday (July 6). And United States President Donald Trump made some interesting remarks about the rap star.
Donald Trump Calls Nicki Minaj ‘So Hot’ During White House Event
Trump gave the Pills & Potions creator a special shout-out when he spoke at the luncheon on Monday. And in his comments, he called Minaj “so hot.”
“We also have a woman that is so respected and so hot and so great and such a great friend of- I don’t say conservative, I say of common sense,” Trump said of the rap star (via TMZ). “She’s a fantastic person, and she’s a woman that’s respected by everybody, and she’s got real talent: Nicki Minaj.”

Of course, Trump’s comments went viral, and users on social media had plenty to say about it.
“What do you expect from him…professionalism??,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“The president flirting at a formal garden feels like a cheap tabloid stunt the street’s already laughing,” a second user chimed in.
“It should be illegal to use the words Trump supporter and any semblance of the word attractive in the same sentence,” a third user remarked.
Minaj appeared to appreciate the shoutout. She posted a clip of Trump’s shoutout on social media, which was accompanied by several praying hand emojis. Nicki and Trump also posed for a picture in the Oval Office. And in the caption of the photo, she refers to herself as “White House Barbie,” and calls him her “favorite President of all time.”
Minaj has aligned herself with the Trump administration over the past couple of months. Earlier this year, she declared herself his “number one fan” and appeared with him at a Treasury Department event to support the “Trump Accounts” initiative. She also pledged significant financial contributions to the program and stated that backlash to her support only motivates her further.
